Meet The Drum Teachers

Matt Crute

Matt spent his 20's and 30's living the "rockstar life" and touring and recording with several bands. In 2005 he moved to Los Angeles with his band Full Scale to chase their dream. The band began in Perth, then moved to Melbourne, then soon found themselves living together in North Hollywood in LA and signing a major label deal with Columbia Records (Sony/BMG). Full Scale were fortunate enough to tour with Evanescence, Sevendust, Karnivool, Cog, The Butterfly Effect and Sunk Loto to name a few.

Nowadays, Matt prefers teaching drums and gets so much enjoyment out of seeing his students improve their drumming skills. A father of two boys aged 7 and 9, his solo drum teaching side-project has now become his pride and passion:
Crutopia Music.
